Inside the Footprint Last Evening #6
The late light illuminates a work of graffiti artwork in the LSU Footprint by the internationally renowned artist Banksy. Earlier this week, I contacted the New Orleans Museum of Art to see if they would be interested in attempting to salvage the piece because the vacant building at Cleveland and S. Derbigny, like over 50 historic buildings in the LSU Footprint, is slated to be demolished.
Here's more on Banksy's 2008 visit to New Orleans "to do battle with the Gray Ghost."
