Even Still
McDonogh No. 11 School stands in the LSU Footprint.
Note the shadow, however, of the high voltage power line pole visible on the building's facade.
That's still an issue.

NOCHC was repaired with recovery money and later re-opened as an architecture school before the architecture school was kicked to the curb.
State general funds were used to acquire land within the LSU footprint prior to July 2007. When recovery monies were sought and applied to this building, was it already known that the structure would soon be abandoned, re-purposed or razed?
