One of my favorite camelbacks, and one of my favorite overall houses in the VA Footprint began preparation for a move today. I hope the crews and the architect working on the refurbishment designs for the new site do as much as possible to retain the unique characteristics of the building.

Classical-revival-style 3-bay camelback with side gallery, front gallery, and elaborated with heavy cornice, paired brackets, modelions, and parapet. Recessed side entry; bayed front.
