Recently, I noticed that the light was on (and it had never previously appeared to be inhabited). Then, last week, I saw a work team inspecting and going inside. Later, the doors and windows were boarded up.
The building, a joint residence and commercial space initially, is one of several former small-scale commercial structures in the VA Footprint. The beveled entryway with post on the corner is a telltale sign.
