Briefly, some were happy, some were not. The house moving itself did not appear to be the object of contention, but rather the wider plan and developments that brought things to this point.
Afterward, 2426 Palmyra (and two other houses) headed down Palmyra as the large crowd dispersed gradually - making its way to a spot on St. Louis Street along the future Lafitte Greenway.
