There's now a little shed inside the gaping carriage-way that runs through the 1907 Dixie Brewery building.

Wally's Sheds

I was down to my antiquated cellphone camera, but I did catch the machinery as it tore into the sheds behind Wally Thurman's former residence this afternoon.

I remember attending WallyFest one year ago this month...and talking with friends and neighbors under the lights in those sheds, where, from what I recall, Wally's father once stored the vehicles he used to make a living.

Interestingly, though clouds of dust went up as the equipment tore into the metal roof and wooden walls, no worker was on hand with a hose.
