Yesterday morning, just before the rains let loose for the first time in weeks, crews prepared the shotgun house at 315 S. Miro for a move. As you can see here, it was up on supports and the roof was removed.
Later, I caught a glimpse of the house up on wheels as it was lined up on S. Miro Street with another house...about to head "upriver" toward Tulane Avenue (unlike most of the house moves, which have proceeded "downriver" on S. Galvez toward Canal Street).
